On Wednesday, Microsoft reported that email address will be supported in 15 different Indian languages in their apps. Outlook 2016, Office 365, Exchange Online Protection will support this feature.

Microsoft has announced this feature on the special occasion of the International Mother Language Day that now people are free to use local language in their e-mail addresses across Microsoft apps.

Meetul Patel, COO of Microsoft India said, "Making email addresses available in 15 languages is an exciting step to making modern communications and collaboration tools more accessible and easier to use for all. We are making technology use the language of people and not requiring people to first learn the traditional language of technology."

Sometime back, Microsoft announced the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Neural Networks (DNN) for making better language translation in Hindi, Bengali and Tamil languages.

Microsoft apps will also support more Indian languages as soon as their IDNs and e-mail addresses become available.
