According to a report by CNBC, Parag Agarwal was appointed in October only, but the company officially updated it now.

Parag Agarwal completed Ph.D. studies in 2011 from Stanford University and then joined Twitter as an advertisement engineer. He recently got the title of Most Distinguished Software Engineer.

It is worth noting that before joining Twitter in 2011, he has done research internship among large technology companies like Microsoft, Yahoo, and AT & T.

According to the CNBC report, he has taken help from Artificial Intelligence to increase the relevance of the tweet on users' timeline.

It is worth noting that Twitter will soon be able to start applications for Verification for once again. The company's CEO Jack Dorsi said in the live stream of Periscope that the company is working to get verification for the people.

He said, "We want to start verification for all the users." However, they have not provided much information about this. It is also not mentioned that the verification process will be the same or it will be replaced. Twitter has recently talked of a modification of Verification Policy. After this, Twitter had closed the Verification application option for all users. Then the company said that the company is working to change the policy after which it will be brought back.
