WhatsApp will stop sharing its data with Facebook

WhatsApp will stop sharing its data with Facebook. Although Facebook is parent company of WhatsApp but WhatsApp will not share any data with Facebook until both the companies will not complies with the EU's upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

According to the report by UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), WhatsApp and Facebook cannot share their data for basic data processing. 

Along with this, France has also said Facebook to stop sharing data and want to company to stop this within a month.

WhatsApp will update their Privacy Policy before GPRD rolls out in which detailed information about data sharing with Facebook will be available.
