Uber has launched its new service express pool. This new feature asks travelers to come and wait till the pick-up spot.
When the passengers book a cab in the new Uber Express Pool service, they will be asked to come to a nearby spot before the trip begins. Also waiting for a few minutes will be asked. This process will also be repeated during the drop.
Through this new service, Uber's aim is to make the driver and passenger benefit by taking the shortest distance. This new feature will ensure that more passengers riding in the cab are going in one direction. As soon as the journey is over, like the pickup, the passenger will be dumped at a distance far from the actual location.
Uber has informed that travelers will be called on Popular Spots for requesting cabs. According to The Verge's report, passengers will be able to travel 50 percent less compared to UberPool and less than 75 percent less than UberX to lift additional trouble.
The Uber Express Pool feature resembles Ola's Ride Express in India, from where riders share cabs for a fixed route. According to the reports, this new service has been launched in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Denver, Los Angeles and San Diego in the US.
