Mark Zuckerberg announces this big change in FB News Feed

Social Media

Social media giant Facebook has made some aggressive changes this year. Recently, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told a major change in a Facebook post. He even said that new changes can make people far away from Facebook in many cases.

Now Facebook says that it will show local news stories to users in the news feed, even if the user does not want to see them. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg wrote in a new Facebook post, "From today we will show you more local town and city news"

If you have liked the page for the news around you, then more content will appear on your news feed. For example, if you have posted a local news publication, then its updates in your news feed will be more visible.

If you have not liked the page related to the Local News Publication, then you can get to see content related to it.

Mark Zuckerberg says local news helps us understand the issue of our community. At the moment, these updates are available in the US and in other countries in the coming time, we will also get it.

One of Mark Zuckerberg's arguments behind this change is also the argument that the company wants to focus more on High-Quality Trusted News. Facebook has also acknowledged that the media institutions that post on Facebook can lose their popularity.
