GPS is must for all public vehicles by February 15

In 2009, the administration had made it required for all cars and cabs to have practical GPS gadgets. All open transport vehicles, including automobiles, taxis, transports, Gramin was and so forth, handling in Delhi under grants issued by the office are required to have GPS gadgets. "We are setting up a rundown of vehicles that don't have practical GPS throughout the previous three months or more. These vehicles will be focused on," said a vehicle division official. "In the following stage, we will get serious about vehicles that don't have used GPS for over two months. In the coming days, we would be more stringent and reports will be kept up on vehicles with non-practical GPS devices...to be refreshed every 10 days," he said.
