Jimmy Iovine, Apple's Music Chief may resign in August

News

According to a report by Billboard, Jimmy Iovine, Apple's Music Chief may resign in August.

Under the supervision of Jimmy Iovine, Apple Music has created it's own identity in the music industry. It has grown to 30 million paid users, putting its popularity at a little under half of Spotify’s 70 million monthly paid subscribers, a milestone the Swedish-based music streaming service announced earlier today. Besides this, Apple had made its streaming service to that size and in such a short time period, it's much impressive.

Apple Music success make peoples and tech giants to give more respect to Jimmy Iovine. It's not clear yet what will Iovine do after leaving Apple. But with a substantial payout undoubtedly on the table, Iovine could make any number of other business deals or investments in either the tech or recording industries.
