Google has just updated their policy about the business reviews. Now people will not be able to give negative reviews to their past jobs on Google. This move will make the Google reviews more accurate than earlier.
Previously, people were free to post any type of reviews of places where they had worked. Google said that it considers this practice to be a "conflict of interest".
Negative reviews by the ex-employees about their former employers leaves very bad impact on the company's reputation in the eyes of their real customers and much difficult to regain their reputation in their eyes.
Now companies can directly contact Google to remove any reviews they consider to be unfair, which in turn could improve the ratings of businesses helping users get unbiased information.
