BlackWallet hacked, $400,000 worth cryptocurrency stolen by Hackers

Digital Wallet, BlackWallet has been broken by the hackers. According to media, hackers stole their cyptocurrency worth $400,00. An unknown group hacked the server on which the BlackWallet was hosted and stores the virtual currency on it. CNN reported on Monday, 15th January, that the open source online Stellar wallet BlackWallet has claimed to have been hacked.

The attack apparently was a phishing attack aimed at the blackwallet.co's hosting provider. 

After this BlackWallet tried to warn their users about this attack via forums but still many users continued to log in to their account and lose money. All the money have been moved to Bittrex - a virtual currency exchange, where they are likely to convert it into another digital currency to hide their tracks.

Earlier in December, Marko Kobal - the co-founder of Slovenian Cryptocurrency mining market NiceHash has beared a lost of about $60 million in a Bitcoin hack. The loss was about 4,736.42 Bitcoins, worth more than $60 million.
