WhatsApp has been working on featuring the payment feature in its app from long time. But now it may get live next month, February. According to report, WhatsApp is now testing this feature for proper working. At starting it may only be used by some users but after it will be avilable widely for everyone.
This feature will be using API for transferring payments in its app. According to news, WhatsApp is testing this feature in its beta App with some of the popular banks of India. Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India and ICICI Bank are the partners with this new payment segment feature in WhatsApp.
Flexibility in Transferring Payment with WhatsApp
This feature will be available in attachment section of the app and users will be able to transfer amount just from the same screen.
How it will be access?
1. The payment feature will be available in the attachment section. From here users can access this feature.
2. The user needs to enter amount and UPI Pin to transfer amount.
