Concerned over the data leak in the US elections, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has assured that now his company is fully committed to maintaining the integrity of the data in elections anywhere in the world including India.

In an interview to the American Channel CNN, Zuckerberg gave this assurance. He acknowledged that many countries such as Russia had tried to influence the US elections and he also told what the steps were taken to help Facebook to circumvent these efforts.

On the question about the Indian elections, Zuckerberg said that Facebook is taking several steps to curb the interference of any foreign element in elections to all countries including India. He said that for this, Facebook has taken measures from the Artificial Intelligence tool to identifying the 'Russian Bots'. Significantly, the Russian Bots tried to influence the elections of the 2017 France and the Alabama Senate elections in the US.

Special attention on Indian elections

Zuckerberg said, 'It is our responsibility. Our special attention is in India because there is going to be a big election. Apart from this, big elections are going to be held in Brazil and in many countries. We are committed to doing all that sincere honesty about these elections on Facebook. "

Zuckerberg wrote a post on Facebook about this issue. In his post, he was told that the company has taken so many steps in this matter so far and can take stern steps further. Zuckerberg has acknowledged his mistake in the case of Cambridge Angelica.
